The Clans were originally abused kittypetts that ran away from their twoleggs. They numbered about forty in all. They accidentally fled thought a portal that took them to a humanless world.
The trees and streams were perfect, they settled into their new life. For a few moons they were content, but about twenty moons after they arrived one of the kits calmed to have seen a glowing cat. Disbelief riddled the cats, for they did not believe in such things, the silenced the bewildered kit.
The kit determined to prove his elders wrong met with the glowing cat by moonlight.
The cat proved to be female, and she taught him the secrets of the realm. She finally imparted to him her secret, she was the goddess of the realm.
He spread the awsome news to the other kits and as they grew up three of the other cats were visited by the goddess, DawnLight. After their meetings they were never the same. These four Cats became the the first Clan's healers.
The four cats destined to be leaders were met by, Endlessnight, the god of the realm.
They outlined the warrior code for these eight cats, who in turn passed it to the rest of the cats. By this time the number of cats had grown too large for one small area. The eight cats conferred with Dawnlight and Endlessnight ad agreed to split the cats into four clans.
The Deep Woods to the north was chosen by SolarClan. StarClan chose the Planes to the east. The Light Woods to the South was chosen by EclipseClan. NovaClan chose the Hills to the west. The four clans agreed to meet once every full moon to share news and greet old friends. Though they lived in separate territories they were not enemies.
