Feathermist's Den (Open!)

[CATxOFxICE]

Feathermist watched them go, not moving even slightly. Wolfheart's tail disappeared through the enterance, and the she-cat finally sat up. She padded over to the poppy seed she had tried to calm Blizzardpaw down with, sweeping it back to it's proper place. Her eyes swept over then den.

Empty.... again. Her paws pressed into the earth as she slowly made her way outside. She lifted her muzzle to the sky. StarClan, have you nothing to say to me?

Blizzardpaw happily trotted after his mentor. " Bye, Feathermist! " He meowed. He felt happy for some reason.

"Bye," She replied softly. Her tail curled around her paws as she sat. Her eyes fell upon the camp. We shall be needing a new litter of kits soon....

Glowkit bounded over to Feathermist. "Hi," she meowed excitedly. "What are you doing?" She walked into the den and sat beside the lean medicine cat.

".....Well, nothing right now." The she-cat replied. Aspenpaw still wouldn't speak to her after the incident, but she didn't blame him. He looked as if he might actually be able to become a warrior, if only the tom wouldn't move around so much.

She looked at Glowkit and smiled. "What about you, are you hurt or did you just smell that icky stuff the apprentices were putting on the elders?"

Glowkit looked at her paws. "Well the icky stuff smelled really bad by the nursery," she mewed scuffling her paws. "And I was bored."

[CATxOFxICE]

"Well, do you want to hear one of the elder's stories? I suppose since there aren't any other kits right now....." The blue she-cat paused thinking of what to say to the kit. "Or, I could tell you about the warriors so you know who you want your mentor to be. Or the apprentices, who you'll be sharing a den with."

Glowkit brightened that the medicine cat wasn't mad at her. "Tell about the apprentices and warriors," she meowed. "Please." She gave Feathermist her cutest face.

"Alright then.... first we have Blizzardpaw. he has white fur, as a kit he fell on his head and since then has tended to be a bit moody....." She took a deep breath and quieted thinking about the tom. She looked apon him highly, he was such a good cat. "Next there's Goldenpaw. He has pretty golden fur and icy eyes. He's hard to miss." She paused and waited for Glowkit to speak.

Glowkit nodded. "I've seen both of them. Goldenpaw has brought me prey before!" she meowed to the medicine cat.

"Well.... next we have Dovepaw. Our only she-cat apprentice right now, small and white with green eyes." Feathermist took a breath as she reached the last cat. "Aspenpaw is the oldest. He was born as a kittypet though - just now beginning to live in SageClan."

Glowkit looked at medicine cat with amazement. "Tell me about the warriors," she meowed. "Please."

"Alright then....." Feathermist paused, and then began to list the warriors. "Wolfheart is Blizzardpaw's mentor, he's pretty nice. He has a gray pelt and is currently the oldest warrior."

Glowkit nodded happily.
