Racoonmask is extremely handsome. His fur is of the medium-long variety. His pelt is a beautiful mix of gray, black, and white. On his back is a black 'saddle' that follows his spine half way up his tail and fading out from that is gray, though it stops after his shoulders and hips and at about three fourths of the way up his tail, turning into white for the rest of his body. His face is very distinctive and once a cat meets him it very hard to forget. Part ot his muzzle is white, as well as his ears, while he has a sort of black 'mask' and an upside down silver V above his nose. Perhaps the most unforgettable feature on him are his piercing azure eyes, beautiful and intense. He is of average size and is very muscular and a bit more on the stocky side.Experience:
Racoonkit was a very inventive and imaginitive kit. He was always the one who came up with games to play with his brother, Badgerkit and sister, Foxkit. His favorite game was when he got to play the Clan leader, Racoonstar, and Foxkit was his loyal deputy, while Badgerkit who was much larger than either of them, played another Clan's leader, Badgerstar, and they had to defeat him. Badgerkit was a bit of a bully to both Racoonkit and Foxkit, and neither of them really liked him, so this game was especially fun for them both.Personality:
Racoonpaw was a very attentive and patient apprentice, keen to remember everything that came out of his mentor, Wolfsong's mouth. She was large for a she-cat, and taught him well how to deal with cats much larger than him (like Badgerpaw). Foxpaw and Racoonpaw grew even closer as apprentices, since Badgerpaw could bully them more than ever without their mother there to stop him. Racoonpaw and Foxpaw remembered the game from when they were kits, remembered the strategy they always used against the much larger Badgerpaw, and grew to work extremely well together while fighting in a pair. Fighting with Foxheart by his side became the only way Racoonpaw could ever fight in a large battle without getting too confused.
Racoonmask, Foxheart, and Badgerclaw were all made warriors together, and Badgerclaw broke the silence of their vigil a couple times, saying he bored or complaining that it was cold or he was tired, but he and his sister remained silent as they were suppose to. Badgerclaw did not remain a warrior for long, he did not likebeing bossed around by older warriors, he had thought that becoming a warrior would mean he could do whatever he wanted, but finally he got sick of it and left the Clan to be a loner, or perhaps a rogue. Racoonmask doesn't know which, but he and Foxheart are VERY glad he left. They haven't heard from his since.
Racoonmask is a very passionate cat. He doesn't believe in trying, he believes in failing or succeeding. "I tried my best" is something he was never say, rather he might say, "I failed, so what is it I learned from failing?". Though, he does not believe that failing is all that bad or disgraceful, it just means you have more to learn and shows you exactly what it is you need to learn. He always gives his whole heart to the task at hand, pushing otehr thoughts away so that he can concentrate on whatever it is he needs to do. He is a wonderful strategist, though quick thinking in battle is a weakness of his. He much prefers to think about things thoroughly, and in battle that is not possible. However, he is a wondrous hunter and his fighting skills are great so long as the battle doesn't take place with too many cats at one time, otherwise it is too chaotic for him to think clearly, unless he is with his sister, Foxheart. He would be a great mentor, but he hasn't yet gotten the chance to prove it. He is a very optimistic cat, always looking on the brighter side of things, and when not focused on a task, he can actually be very light-hearted and is extremely flirtatious with pretty she-cats.
