I think I've made a mistake. You see...when Spiderfang(Spiderstar), Ravenstar, and Dragonstar all became leaders, I made them all clan moderators. And I think I should have asked them before I did that.
On most sites, leaders have staff powers. I guess that is a reward for running your clan well. But I am sort of finding out that it is hard to be a leader when you have to deal with people wanting to have new skins, having advanced coding, advertising a lot to get new members, dealing with the plot, accepting characters, moderating threads and posts, and having a little bit of fun.
So I have noticed that while Spiderfang, Ravenstar, and Dragonstar play great leaders...they seem to slack of a bit on their moderating responsibilities. Like not noticing that there is a ban on all new bios for VervainClan warriors. Or accepted characters, but not putting them in the clan status(then people go to me when the top table clans is not updated). So, maybe somebody with less responsibilities should be a clan moderator.
So. This is a nomination announcement. This thread is locked, so you must send a private message to me nominating a person or if you have a question. I put up the voting in a poll a week from today.
Though, a good question is, What does a Clan Moderator do?
In short, they moderate all happenings within a clan.
The longer version....

Whew...this is a long post. I guess you only need to read the middle part if you are interested in becoming a clan moderator.
Also, if you do really want to become a clan moderator, pm me and I will obviously know if you are getting nominated...and it's just nice for me to know that.
When you pm a nomination, which I hope everyone does, not only give the user's name, but also what clan you think they should moderate. And I am moderating SageClan....though I suppose there could be two moderators....yeah. I'll say that. There can be more than one moderator per clan.
And this whole post is not saying at all that Spiderstar, Ravenstar, and Dragonstar cannot become clan moderators. But I want to give them the freedom of not being one(which I will ask all the nominated if they are willing) and everyone else's choice for who would be good.
Hope to see all of your pms,

A clan mod. assigns apprentices to mentors. Now, you must think before assigning an apprentice to just any warrior. Do not give the leader or deputy an apprentice just because. In the books, it is said that it is a great honor for an apprentice to have the leader or deputy as their mentor. Which suggests that it doesn't happen that often. Also, look at the apprentices and mentor's personality types. Have fun with it, but be realistic.
oo2;;
Keep up with the apprentices progress as they are trained. This might mean scanning through threads and hunting down mentors. If you go to the relationships board, you'll notice a thread called apprentices and mentors. This is where you keep track of the apprentice's training. Every clan has a post. If you need more forms, just copy and paste. Also take note that a blank form is made for a brand, spankin' new apprentice. If a person makes an apprentice that is 8 moons, they have already done the tour of the territory -- their mentors don't need to do that with them. Here is the standings of what is completed:
(numbers used to identify the rank on the list)
6-mooned kit;; everything open
6-mooned apprentice(already done ceremony);; tour of territory(1)
7-mooned apprentice;; 1-2-3
8-mooned apprentice;; 1-2-3-4
9-mooned apprentice;; 1-2-3-4-6
10-mooned apprentice;; 1-2-3-4-6-7
11-mooned apprentice;; 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8
12-mooned apprentice;; Should be ready to become a warrior, the mentor can just do whatever they want with the apprentice.
The training order does not have to be in this order either, but obviously the apprentice shouldn't go on a hunting patrol if they don't know how to hunt only one thing.

You will receive some staff powers. With this, it would save me a lot of trouble if you could go through every board of your assigned clan and modify the spot where it says Moderators: It says admin there, but I would like you to but a comma [,] behind the admin and place your name that you signed up with.
oo4;;
You also need to keep updating the clan status list for your assigned clan. This is sort of tricky. Firstly, you need to look at the Accepted board of the clan's cats. Look at the cat's name, the name of the person that made the cat, the age of the cat, the gender, and the short description. You also need to copy the url of the bio(but only when it's in the accepted pile). Then go to the clan status list and put the information into the post. You can change the setup of the list actually...as long as it's neat, effective, and appealing. I will not settle for something simple like Leader: Firestar. Absolutely not. Anyway. The form I use is:
CAT'S NAME -- short description, usually you modify it cause people make them too long to fit ~age of cat in moons~ [name of person that made cat]
You will also need to update the total cats, and total she-cats and total toms near the top of the page. It's not too hard once you get the hang of it.
oo5;;
You also get to accept cats. Now, do pay attention to what is banned and stuff. It's right in the board where you make your cat...not that hard. And right now there is only one ban...

Now, you don't need to read every post in the clan that you moderate. But you do need to make sure everyone is posting long enough posts. At least three sentences...give or take depending on what font the poster used or if you are viewing the post in subs or normal size.
