Age: 36 Moons
Gender: Tom
Desired Position: Warrior
Clan: VervainClan
Short Description:
A tall, lithe white tom w/ silver stripes down the back & light blue eyesDescription:
Snowbird is slim, sleek and tall. He's also rather boney. He's definitely not the fighting type due to his lack of muscle and stamina, he's more of the stealthy surprise-attack sort of warrior. His face is sharp, but has a gentle, dusty expression on. His ears are large and triangular, with each a silver x on the back. His fur is long around the throat, tail, cheeks and chest, but shortens out a bit on the rest of the body. The fur is mostly white besides the silver stripes that begin at the eyes, follow the cheeckbone, slither down the sides of his neck, and follow the back until the two stripes merge into one down the tail. Snowbird's back legs have a thick band of silver trailing down to the paws -- The left back leg also has a nasty, jagged scar going down that's about as long as a mouse --, and his front paws wear socks of silver. His eyes are a crystaline blue, but most of the time he keeps them closed in a smile.Experience:
Snowbird was born into Vervain Clan, and when he was a tiny kit in the middle of leaf-bare, he found himself lost in the middle of a snowstorm. He probably would've died, had the clan not noticed his disapearance and sent out a search party. He was found, shivering and snow-covered, in the cavity of a tree and was taken back to camp. Thus the name Snowkit went into action. He barely made it thru the night, and was very sickly throughout his kit-hood. That cleared up in his apprentice-hood, though. But it wasn't any party either, his mentor was strict. And when I say strict, I mean strict. The mentor was never satisfied with Snowpaw's (as he was called in his apprentice-hood) outcome when he graduated at 13 moons, but didn't say a thing, as he was no longer Snowpaw's mentor. And thus, Snowpaw became Snowbird. Snowbird wasn't the best "head-on" warrior in the clan, never was, but he was more intelligent than most and had a crafty way of getting the best of bigger and stronger enemies. Although, not always. He mentored one apprentice, and was in the process of training a second when an invasion of rogues suddenly sent the camp into spasms of terror. Snowbird was severely injured -- like I said, he wasn't the best "head-on" warrior, he needed time to think out strategies and what not. However, his injuries were a simple scratch compared to his apprentice's. His apprentice had been fighting one rogue when more and more ganged up on him, and when the poor apprentice had been dragged out of the fur-flying mess, it was too late. That apprentice was beyond recognition, and beyond help. The rest of the camp was in complete ruin, and the medicine cat's den became flooded with patients. His wounds were treated lastly, and by then they had become infected. The infection was chased out, but it left a little reminder -- a nasty, ragged scar doing down Snowbird's left leg. The fur grew in around it, but never over it. And, up till now, he's just been doing regular duties as a warrior of Vervain Clan.Personality:
Snowbird is essentially lazy and easy-going. He likes to day-dream with the sunset and sleep under the stars. When he's not needed, you can count on him to kick back and take a nap. Snowbird is also a fairly intelligent cat, and is good at predictions and coming up with the finer points of stradegy. He likes solving riddles and puzzles as well. He's more of the deep-thinking type of cat, and definitely isn't the one to pass strange happenings off as coincidence.
As you can imagine, Snowbird's presence is more often felt than heard, talking only when he feels he needs to put his part in. He's not exactly the best person to try and start up a conversation with, that's rather hard to do if you ask me. Snowbird is also usually the cat who strays from arguments, merely because he doesn't like the rising of one's voice. Not only is it rare for Snowbird to take part in an argument, but it's also rare for Snowbird to become loud and harsh-vocaled. His timbre is usually soft, and irritatingly calm.
However, even soft-hearted Snowbird has three big buttons you wouldn't ever want to push. First of all, he's not exactly fond of rogues or rats. Nor is he insanely hostile towards them. He just prefers to keep them out of what little conversation he has. Secondly, he doesn't like insults, so all you little snotty kits out there beware. And thirdly, he's no fan of disrespect. Disrespect towards anybody. The eldest elder, or the tiniest kit.
