Apprentice Ceremony

Spiderstar looked at Wanderingspirit and then glanced at Ashpaw. "We will leave whenever she gets her prey." He said in a curt way and then waited for Ashpaw to grab prey. He was getting anxious to get going. He wanted to talk to StarClan. He needed to ask why StarClan was hurting the Clans. And of course he wanted to recieve his 9 lives so he could lead VervianClan as a proper leader.

((Spiderstar should be traveling to the Crystal Cavern not the Moon Tree, the Moon Tree is the Gathering place not the 'moon stone' ^.^))

Shadowstorm watched Darkwing pad away, still wishing he had gotten Ashpaw as an apprentice instead. He stood as Spiderstar leapt down to receive traveling herbs and followed Darkwing into the warrior's den for some rest.

Smokepaw's ears flicked as Spiderstar said Ashpaw would be going instead of him. Smokepaw had been an apprentice for a couple moons now and Ashpaw had just been made one! Yet Smokepaw hadn't been to the Crystal Cavern.... His tail lashed once in annoyance before Spiderstar leapt down and obviously he was dismissed. If his mentor spoke to him he didn't hear it, but instead stood up and padded into the apprentices' den, curling up moodily in his nest, his tail over his nose. He didn't understand why Spiderstar had chosen Ashpaw over him....

Also, the reason cats eat traveling herbs is so that they have strenghth, and don't have to eat for the first parts of the journey....

Ashpaw was ready to go, raring to go! She was a brand new apprentice, and she was going to the Crystal Cavern!
Ashpaw couldn't eat. She was too excited to eat. Anyway, she'd probably get indigestation after eating those herbs....

Spiderstar nodded toward Ashpaw and then padded out of camp not waiting for his companions. They would need to go quickly if they wished to get there before night fall, they had already delayed long enough.
