Death berries, Blizzardpaw!!!

The big gray tom plodded away from the stone circle, shaking his head lightly, "C'mon, Blizzardpaw, this way! The death berries are this way!" he called over his shoulder, watching his apprentice bound after him, seemingly happy at the thought of the killer berries. He sighed, hoping he would calm down soon.

He led the apprentice into the lone forest, hoping they didn't actually find any death berries or Blizzardpaw might be in big trouble. He wondered if maybe they should just go back to camp and see if Feathermist had anyt poppy seeds she could give him in the hopes that it would help calm him down....

Blizzardpaw happyily bounded after his mentor. " LET'S FIND SOME OF BLIZZARDPAW'S DEATH BERRIES!!!!! " He yowled loudly. Each time he saw a bush he examined it and tried to see if there were and death berries.

" HELP ME FIND BLIZZARDPAW'S DEATH BERRIES!!!!!!! " He demanded. As he sniffed a bush, he scared a small thrush. Blizzardpaw was mad that he didn't find any death berries and jumped at the thrush as it `tried to fly away. He brought it back to the ground and killed it. " DEATH BERRIES!!!!!!!!!!!! "

Wolfheart sat and curled his fluffy gray tail around his paws, watching Blizzardpaw. He was surprised when he caught the thrush, but didn't say anything, pretty sure if he said anything that had anything to do with anything other than death berries he wouldn't be heard anyway, "The death berries are all gone, Blizzardpaw, someone else already ate them all. There are no more."

He looked around, not seeing the red berries anywhere close and thankful for it. Hopefully Blizzardpaw wouldn't wander too far off and stumble upon some..., "Blizzardpaw, don't you want to train? There are no death berries, they're all gone." He tried slipping in something meaningful to see if Blizzardpaw would notice or just react to his comment about death berries.

Blizzardpaw sat down." Who ate all the death berries? " He asked a little pathetically. He was calming down now. " What do I do with the bird? " He poked the dead bird.

Wolfheart let out a small sigh of relief as Blizzardpaw mentioned something other than death berries. He decided not to answer the apprentice's question about them incase it set him off again and instead turned his attention to the bird he had caught, "Well... if you'd like, you can eat it, or else bury it for now and we'll take it back to camp later." He stood now and looked down at the bird, then up at Blizzardpaw, "I was thinking we could do some battle training, hopefully it will help you get rid of some of that energy of yours."

" You want to get rid of me..... ? " Blizzardpaw asked. It looked like he was on the verge of crying. He slowly dug a hole and put the thrush in it. He looked really sad.

His eyes widened slightly at his apprentices' reply, then softened, "No, Blizzardpaw, I don't want to get rid of you at all... just some of your energy. You have so much energy, Blizzardpaw, I don't know where you manage to get it all," he purred, hoping to comfort the young cat. He hadn't meant to hurt his feelings at all. Touching his tail tip to Blizzardpaw's shoulder, he murmured, "Let's start battle training then, hm? A good warrior's got to know how to fight."

" Okay, " Blizzardpaw meowed, brightening up a bit. " How do I fight? " He sat down and twitched his ears.
