((it starts in camp, but they're going to the borders, so bear with me))
Sundance woke with a yawn and sat up in her nest, blinking tiredly. Then she remembered, she had received an apprentice yesterday and had told her to meet her by the camp entrance first thing in the morning. She stood and was about to leave the warriors's den when she remembered she'd better have Moonsong tag along as well, so she could make sure her apprentice got the training she needed. Sighing, she prodded her sister to wake her up. Moonsong never slept too far away from her, but they were never that close either....
"Moonsong, wake up, we're taking our apprentices out this morning!" she hissed quietly so as not to wake the other warriors.
Feeling a paw prodding her in the side, Moonsong raised her head and looked up at her golden sister, "Apprentices... right." She stood and shook herself lightly and was about to settle down to groom the loose moss from her fur when Sundance batted her ear lightly with a paw and told her not to bother, they had to get going. Sighing, she followed her out of the den and to the camp entrance to wait for their apprentices to show up.

Canarypaw had not slept at all during her first night in the Apprentices Den. She was very excited to train to become a warrior, but was nervous about her mentor. Canarypaw wasn't exactly happen with who the leader had chosen for her. She was hoping for a brave and powerful warrior, but instead she got Moonsong.
The young she-cat stood up and stretched. She yawned, but tried to forget her sleepiness as she padded out of the den and towards the camp entrance. Seeing that Sundance was there as well made Canarypaw feel more relaxed.
She walked up to Moonsong and asked eagerly, "What are we going to do today?" She felt the need to yawn, but held it back. She didn't want to look like a sleepy little kit on her first day training.
